On September 20, the China‑EU Manufacturing International Cooperation Matchmaking Event of the 2026 World Manufacturing Conference opened in Hefei. More than 300 guests from countries and regions including China, Germany and the United Kingdom attended the event.

During the keynote speeches, representatives from all sectors delivered addresses, sharing insights on trends in China‑EU manufacturing cooperation, scientific and technological innovation and other topics. Centered on the theme “Coordinated Development of China‑EU Manufacturing and Co‑building of Global Markets”, the roundtable dialogue featured in‑depth discussions among guests covering supply‑chain support, green manufacturing, digital transformation and market expansion.

At the outcome release session, the China‑EU Science and Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Service Center was officially inaugurated. The Anhui Small‑ and Medium‑sized Enterprises Investment Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the German Federal Association of Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises. A strategic cooperation agreement for ChipV was also signed on the occasion. LiShi Tech Brain No.1, an AI large‑model for enterprise intelligent analysis, was officially unveiled. Baumüller launched its 2026 new‑generation servo motors. Also released were the knowledge system for China‑EU manufacturing management talent development and the Ten Competencies book series for modern managers.

Following the main session, Chinese and European entrepreneurs took part in international cooperation matchmaking exchanges. Guests were arranged for field visits to industrial parks and benchmark factories in Hefei, Huainan and other locations.

Under the theme “China‑EU Manufacturing for the Future: Deepening International Cooperation and Sci‑Tech Innovation between Chinese and European Manufacturing Sectors”, this event was hosted by the Global Alliance of SMEs, with support from the German Federal Association of Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises and the Britain‑China 48 Group Club. It aims to foster high‑level annual dialogues and practical collaboration for international cooperation in China‑EU manufacturing, build a collaborative innovation ecosystem for China‑EU manufacturing, and further amplify the global influence of the World Manufacturing Conference in international cooperation.
