On September 16, the inauguration ceremony for the Future Star Business Unit of Vital Materials Group and the Aerospace‑Industry Ecosystem Conference were held in Hefei. At the event, the Future Star Business Unit of Vital Materials Group and the headquarters of Anhui Vital Materials Polaris were officially unveiled. A host of key projects covering commercial aerospace, low‑altitude economy, and industry‑university‑research collaboration were signed collectively.
The newly‑signed projects span satellite‑borne communication payloads, laser communications, satellite power supplies, and low‑altitude applications. Among them, an agreement was signed between Vital Materials Group and Hefei High‑Tech Zone to jointly build the Anhui Vital Materials Gallium Rise (Jiasheng) Microelectronics Base. Vital Materials Polaris has forged partnerships with Hefei Guoxian Holding Co., Ltd. and Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center Co., Ltd. to advance real‑world application scenarios in low‑altitude surveillance, meteorological monitoring, as well as slope and dam deformation monitoring.
In recent years, Hefei has accelerated its industrial layout in low‑altitude economy and commercial aerospace. Under the Three‑Year Action Plan for the Development of Hefei’s Commercial Aerospace Industry, the city targets an overall commercial‑aerospace industry scale of RMB 40 billion and over 300 clustered enterprises by 2027, striving to build a world‑leading innovation hub and full‑industrial‑chain demonstration zone for commercial aerospace.
